Well, how do you do?  How can it be November already?  October just slipped right past us, didn’t it?  I blinked a couple of times and football season was half over (snap) just like that!  We hope you had a Happy Halloween – and a safe one, more than anything else.  And remember, in the interest of fighting the childhood obesity epidemic; be sure you eat all the leftover Halloween candy yourself.  Or as we call it, “Breakfast, lunch and dinner.”  Sorry, I stole that from Maxine – the cartoon lady, but I couldn’t help myself.  It was just too good to pass up.  And speaking of passing up – with the passing of Halloween we now fearlessly embark upon another great national holiday…and no, I don’t mean Thanksgiving.  I’m talking about Opening Weekend of Rifle Deer Hunting Season in Texas – which many of my friends think should be a national holiday.  But we’ll get to all the Bambi and Thirty Point Buck jokes in a few minutes.  Oh, and who knows, we might even come up with a few lame excuses you can use to call in sick at work tomorrow morning, just so you can stay in Deer Camp one extra day.
