Time to fire up the grill! January is National Meat Month, and what could be more apt for those of us who like to cook in the backyard? As the host of The Outdoor Cooking Show I try to stay up on those silly little commemorative days and weeks and months, so when I happened upon the fact that this is National Meat Month I looked it up. You know me – Google is your friend. I couldn’t find a website or organization that took direct credit for establishing National Meat Month, but there were plenty of restaurants and chefs and websites that wanted to capitalize on it – not to mention radio shows, huh? You know, like The Outdoor Cooking Show?
