It’s National Shrimp Day, and what could be more perfect for those of us who live and cook outdoors on the Upper Texas Gulf Coast? You won’t be surprised to hear I looked it up: Shrimp are found all over the world near the seafloor of coasts and estuaries, and even some rivers and lakes, but they are especially plentiful in the Gulf of Mexico, so we’re unusually fond of them in this part of the country.
